Pushin’ Pipe

Pipe Push 25/710

Hey All,

Well we started hogging out all that snowmaking snow up in the pipe site on Wednesday, the snowmakers were making the most of the cold temps over the past couple weeks and made some huge whales.  It usually takes a couple weeks to push all the snow, step the pipe then cut it, but we’re going to throw as much time as we can at it to see if we can get it open earlier.  We’ll see how we go!!

See ya, Adam

you guys are doing an awesome job this seson, really mixing things up in the park, it so sweet.
when are some jumps going to be put up in leichhart btw?

    Hugh,

Good to hear you’re pumped for the pipe, I know what you mean I can’t wait to get back up there this morning to start pushing again. With Leichardt it is all snow dependant we have one small jump on the bottom and the boys added a 5m rail at the bottom of the park last night. We talked about putting some jibs down the right side as well but the rollers and bottom jump are real popular so we’ll wait and see if we get some more snow so we can buil the rollers into the start of a jump line.

    Thanks Adam

yeah i guess there not much you guys can do until you get a big storm. hopefully that comes soon! coming up for 3 days in 2 weeks so hopefully the pip/leichhart will be up by then. how bigs the one leichhart jump btw?

  4. Adam Says:

    Hugh,

The Leichardt jump is a 10 footer. As soon as we get more snow we’ll get stuck in to Leichardt to add some more features. The pipe is getting close and should be open soon.

    Thanks bud, AG

    Lockie,

Hey buddy she’s up and rolling. We finished it late Friday night and it opened today. I just finished grooming it about an hour ago so it’ll be all set to go again on Sunday. We usually cut the pipe six days a week, Tuesday night we give it a rest so Wednesday morning we only groom the flat bottom, decks and drop in.

    Cheers, Adam
