
Once in the resort you have a choice of fully serviced mountain bases to begin your day's riding. Perisher Valley offers day access by car, parking is free and for day use only. Smiggin Holes may be accessed by car, day parking is free and a free shuttle service operates between Perisher Valley and Smiggin Holes between 7:30am and 6pm (and longer during night skiing and boarding).
Guthega can be accessed by car and there is FREE day parking for 60 cars and 50 overnight spaces although snow conditions can affect these numbers. Blue Cow is a day resort and can only be accessed via Skitube from Perisher Valley or Bullocks Flat. If you require hire be sure to do this before embarking Skitube to Blue Cow.
Hans Oversnow can be contacted on (02) 6457 5334 or 0418 485 144 - 24 hours a day. Hans Oversnow is located in the Perisher Skitube Terminal. Oversnow transport is provided to all lodges in Perisher and Smiggins for a charge (depending on how far the lodge is from the Skitube Terminal at Perisher). Additional charges apply after midnight. Bookings are essential for very late arrivals. Some lodges provide their own service.
A free shuttle service operates between Perisher Valley and Smiggin Holes. The shuttle service runs from 7:30am to 6pm and until 10pm Tuesdays and Saturdays during July & August and Tuesdays during September to accommodate for night skiing and boarding. Pick-ups are from the turning circle at Perisher Skitube Terminal and the metal bridge outside the Smiggins Hotel at Smiggin Holes. Shuttles depart approximately every 15 minutes.
On-snow overnight parking at Perisher, Smiggins and Guthega is limited to a few accommodation properties only and we recommend using Skitube to access on snow accommodation. Skitube Alpine Railway is located at Bullocks Flat, 20kms or around 15 minutes drive from Jindabyne via the Alpine Way, with no chains normally required. FREE day parking for 2208 vehicles and overnight parking for 822 vehicles is available here. There is also parking for 200 coaches. Skitube from Bullocks Flat accesses Perisher Valley and Blue Cow. Coach services run morning and evening between Jindabyne and Bullocks Flat. Your Skitube Pass includes the National Park Use Fee.

Canberra International Airport is located about 7 kilometres (10 mins) from the city centre.

Perisher is an easy 5.5 to 6 hour drive from Sydney via Canberra and Cooma or 7 hours from Melbourne with more than half the distance on freeway standard or dual carriage roads. Kosciuszko Road accesses Perisher, Smiggins and Guthega from Jindabyne.
Motorists are legally required to carry properly fitting chains in any vehicle other than 4WD's in a ‘snow-ice' risk section within the National Park. It's an easy half hour drive from Jindabyne in good weather. Entry to the National Park is $27 per car per day. Annual passes are $190.* (further information on the NPWS Park Use fees can be located at here)
