6 Good Reasons to Get out of the City and Head to the Snow!

If you're sick of the smog, tired of the hustle and bustle or feeling overworked, now is the perfect time to get out of the city and head to the snow!  Don't miss your chance to breathe in the crisp, fresh mountain air and enjoy all that the Australian alpine areas have to offer. Whether you want to play hard or just chill-out, there is plenty to do both on and off the slopes this winter.

1. The Pope is visiting! If you are not taking in the activities and festivities associated with the Pope visiting Sydney, then it could be the perfect chance to get out of town. Transport could become a nightmare for a start, what a good excuse to leave town and hit the snow!

Perisher Blue's 2007 Demographic Survey identified that almost half of Perisher Blue's guests are without partners and looking. The growing appeal of ski resorts, as a place for singles to mingle is not entirely surprising given that there is so much to see and do, not to mention the healthy nightlife! So strap on the dancing shoes, have a drink and you might even meet 'the one'!
