| Incredible Snowmaking Effort This Season | |
| Perisher's recent three-year $19 million investment in automated snowmaking has been a bonus for skiers and boarders this winter. Given the region has received just 34cm of natural snow to date, without snowmaking, there would be limited riding options. Since the resort kicked off its snowmaking operations on 11 May, we've produced close to 550,000 cubic metres of snow, with the biggest 24 hours yielding an incredible 45,445 m3. Last winter Perisher produced 620,000 cubic metres of snow and it looks as though Perisher is well on the way to bettering that record in 2010. |

| Coca-Cola Tube My Ride - Calling all Budding Warren Millers! | |
| The 2nd Annual Coca-Cola Tube My Ride competition is set to go off this coming 31 July - 1 August. Skiers and snowboarders alike will be given the chance to let their creative juices flow both on the slopes and on camera while hitting features in The PlayStation Slopestyle Park and, a new element to the contest this year, the Superpipe at Front Valley. Competitors are required to film and edit a slick video of no more than 3 minutes with approved Launch Your Band music which will be hosted and peer voted on Perisher's Tube My Ride website and You Tube. |

| Did You Know It Snowed in Sydney Last Week? | |

Well, not actually snow falling from the sky but with the recent cold temperatures it probably felt like it should snow to many Sydney residents! On Friday 2 July Perisher took a truck load of snow and dumped it in Martin Place, Sydney, to the delight of kids and adults alike. For many this was their first opportunity to touch or stand on snow, and for many of the kids a chance to make their own snowman. Thanks to the City of Sydney for helping to make it happen - it certainly brought a smile to many faces! |

There's no such thing as safe speeding! Speeding on snow trips is risky because of unpredictable weather conditions, unfamiliar roads and wildlife. Make sure you drive to the weather conditions and proceed with caution in fog, snow or ice. Please slow down when conditions deteriorate. And, keep an eye out for our native animals that come to life at night time! Visit the RTA website for more information about speeding. |
