| Hoorah! The expected cold front arrived in spectacular fashion yesterday morning bringing with it blizzard conditions. In the past 24 hours more than 30cm of fresh dry snowfall blanketed the four villages that make up Perisher Blue. Today is one of those magical days for deep powder turns. There is awesome skiing and boarding to be found in amongst the trees and protected areas, so rip it up! MORE

A day in the life of a Snowmaker!

| The recent snowfalls have certainly placed a beautiful white blanket across Perisher Blue, putting smiles on everyone's faces. This hasn't meant that our snowmakers can now take it easy. The old adage "make hay while the sun shines" (or make snow when the conditions are right) applies. In the months of June and July in particular, snowmaking either assists in enabling the Resort to open or enhances the natural snowfall.
