26cm of Snow Fun!

The predicted cold front has moved through bringing more than 26cm of snow in the past 48 hours. The Resort has been completely blanketed in all things white and fluffy, and with consistently low overnight temperatures there has been plenty of opportunities to crank up the snowmaking guns. The Perisher
Historical Society has been set up to capture the rich historical
tapestry of the Perisher Range. It was launched at a dinner at Snow
Gums Restaurant in the Perisher Hotel on Saturday of the June Long
Weekend. It was a great success with 103 guests in attendance, many
from the early days of the development of the Perisher Range. The
Society will be publishing regular newsletters with progress and
happenings, and are keen to receive your stories from the early days
right up to the present. You can either email stories or exciting
