Adventure Kids 5 to 7 years

Having fun - that's what our Adventure Ski Program is all about. In Australia's largest, family friendly resort, there is no time to be bored. Whatever your child’s ability, this age appropriate ski program caters for all levels, from an introduction to skiing to the experienced. Our instructors are certified professionals who make your child’s desires their main priority. Join the adventure!

Location: Perisher Valley and Smiggin Holes.

Outdoor Check-in/Pick up: Children can be checked-in from 9:15am at the Outdoor Kids Learning Area, pick up is from 3:15pm. Please ensure that all your child’s belongings are clearly labelled and all registration paperwork is completed prior to check-in.

Early check in: During peak periods (5 to 16 July and 1 to 30 August) we offer the convenience of early check in from 9.00am at the Outdoor Kids Learning Area.

Adventure Express 8:30am to 9:00am. A convenience for parents who are booked in morning lessons located somewhere other than Perisher Valley (i.e. Smiggin Holes or Blue Cow). Drop off your child between 8:30am and 9:00am in the Adventure Kids Centre, located in the upper level of the Perisher Centre and have enough time to travel to your lesson location.

Please note - sign up for this service is essential at time of booking your adult lesson.

Adventure Kids timetable:

Duration:	9:30am to 3:30pm
Check-in:	9:00am to 9:30am
Pick-up:	3:15pm to 3:30pm

For the benefit of all children late arrivals (after 10:00am) may not be able to join the morning on-snow session once lessons have commenced. Children will be cared for indoors until they are able to join the lesson at lunch.

On-snow activities and duration will be determined by the needs of all children in the group as well as prevailing weather conditions.

Indoor Facilities: Facilities are provided indoors for periodic breaks, which will depend on age, energy level and weather. A separate room for 5 year olds will be available in 2010.

Lunch:
Our Adventure Kids Centre is a nut free zone. We are able to cater for all common food allergies, however, if the child suffers from severe food intolerances it is best that parents provide the meals.

Health Policy: While all possible care and attention is given to all children, sick children will not be permitted to join the programs.

What to bring:

• An approved snowsports helmet
• Appropriate warm clothing for outdoor conditions
• Waterproof gloves or mittens
• Sunglasses and/or goggles
• Sunscreen
• Skis and ski boots (poles for Level 5 and above)

 The wearing of helmets is now compulsory in all Kids' programs including 2.5 hour lessons.

Helmets included free of charge with pre-booked All Day Kids' Programs and hire of Skis/Boots/Poles or Board/Boots pack through Perisher Snowsports Hire.

Lesson availability is dependent on demand. Not all advertised lesson times may be available; please enquire when making a booking. A minimum of four persons constitutes a Group Lesson. The duration of lessons for groups with less than 4 persons may be reduced.
