Snowsports School

First Time Skiers and Boarders

These learn to ski/board group lesson programs for adults and children are designed to ensure that your first experience is safe and enjoyable.

Our 2.5-hour group lessons are the best way to learn new skills.

Available through the Perisher Valley and Smiggin Holes Snowsports School at 9:30am or 12:30pm and the Blue Cow Snowsports School at 10:30am daily.

First Timer tickets include your Lift Ticket and a daily 2.5-hour lesson program tailored to the needs of those who have never been skiing or boarding before.


^Age restrictions: Group lessons for 5 and 6 year olds are available for skiing only (private boarding lessons are available).

First Timer Guarantee: We guarantee you will be able to use a beginner lift after the first 2.5 hour lesson!

Free Lesson & Lift Access: Purchase a 5 or 6-day First Timer package starting Monday and receive a FREE lesson on Sunday afternoon at 1pm.

Info The wearing of helmets is now compulsory in all Kids' programs including 2.5 hour lessons.

Helmets included free of charge with pre-booked All Day Kids' Programs and hire of Skis/Boots/Poles or Board/Boots pack through Perisher Snowsports Hire.

All multi-day packages are consecutive.
