FIS Alpine/ Skier Cross Team

Competition birth years: 1994 or earlier

This program is either for first year FIS athletes or for the experienced competitor, and will offer an exciting combination of alpine ski racing and skier cross competition. Athletes will be able to train for both disciplines or choose their preferred field. Skier Cross is not only thrilling but also introduces skills such as athleticism, agility, explosiveness and adaptability. Physical fitness is a mandatory aspect of training.


Program Cost:

Duration: 45 days, including school holidays, weekends, selected weekdays and participation in FIS events held in NSW and Victoria. Optional dryland camp 6-7 June at no extra cost.


Additional Training Cost:
Program Members only $ TBC per day

Minimum number of participants will apply

Junior Alpine Team

Competition birth years: 1995/96 & 1997/98

Development birth years: 1999, 2000, 2001

For the committed junior skier who wishes to further develop their alpine racing experience the focus is on free-skiing in challenging terrain, developing solid race techniques and achieving goals in a fun environment. For the younger age group, this program is the foundation to compete in Children’s Race Series.


Program A Cost:
TBC

Duration: 45 days, including 3 weeks of school holidays ( TBC), weekends and selected weekdays. Optional dryland camp 6-7 June at no extra cost.


Program B Cost:
TBC

Duration: 25 days, including 2 weeks of school holidays ( TBC) and weekends.


Additional Training Cost: Program Members only $ TBC per day

Minimum number of participants will apply


Locker room facilities

Lockers will be accessible at Blue Cow at a seasonal hire cost of $ TBC.

Locker hire can be included in the WSC registration form, please be aware that available Lockers are limited.

The WSC Locker room has seen some renovations and new full length Lockers are available to ensure that equipment is stored properly and securely.

No provisions for gear storage aside from the hire lockers will be available and the Locker room will only be accessible by athletes who chose to hire a locker, please see the Blue Cow Snowsports office for access information and Locker assignment.

Access to a lunch and meeting room will be available at no cost on program days only.
