Our Freeride Program caters for all skiers wanting to redefine their skiing boundaries. Athletes will improve skills and techniques whilst training for rails, jumps and halfpipe. A fun and exciting ski discipline, it combines skills such as creativity, style, control and speed with all natural terrain features the mountain has to offer. Competition will be encouraged for specific events throughout the season.
With Halfpipe becoming the newest World Cup discipline in skiing and Slopestyle tagged as a future Olympic discipline, popularity of the referred ski disciplines will only increase. Perisher offers one of the country’s most exciting Slopestyle courses and combined with our long standing association with the freeride discipline, the WSC program aims to offer a smooth transition into the national competition pathway. This program will concentrate predominately on Halfpipe and Slopestyle and advanced skiing ability with some experience in the terrain park will be required. This program is structured around some events like the Thredbo Freeride Series and the Playstation night time Slopestyle events in Perisher.
For 2012 we offer flexible program participation to suit all training needs.
