Today at Perisher

An Epic Bluebird Saturday!

The bluebird weather continues, with clear skies, sunshine and a top of 11°C forecast for today. Winds will be west to south-westerly at 15 to 25km/h, making for a lovely day on the mountain!

Overnight, the temperature dipped to -4°C, and our snowmaking team made the most of the cold, with 145 guns running from around midnight, and still going this morning, to top up the base with man-made snow. Conditions underfoot will be firm and fast this morning, softening as the day goes on.

There are 21 lifts scheduled to spin today, with the grooming team having prepped 24 runs for your skiing and boarding.

Please note there is no ski or ride access between Perisher and Blue Cow, so you'll need to take the Skitube between the two resort areas. Access to Smiggins is via the Guest Shuttle.

Where could your Epic Australia Pass take you next? Visit the Epic Hub at Front Valley today and tomorrow to find out. Plus, there are plenty of great prizes up for grabs at Spin the Wheel: buy an Epic Hot Chocolate or Epic Aperol from Jax Bar today for your chance to spin, then head over to the Jax Bar deck at 3:00pm to give it a go (while prizes last).

There's plenty more happening around the resort too, with live music from Andryel at Blue Cow, Josh Cashman at Jax Bar and DJ Bolta at Mid Station, so be sure to catch them in between runs. If you want to keep the good vibes going after a day on the slopes, Aussie favourites The Jungle Giants are playing at The Station. Get your tickets now.

Night Skiing and Boarding is also on tonight. Experience Front Valley under the stars and catch a stunning fireworks show at 7:00pm!

*Natural snow depth is supplemented with snowmaking in certain areas. Natural snow depth is measured at roughly 1,830m by Snowy Hydro Limited who have invested in new instrumentation across the Snowy Scheme and can now provide more frequent snow depth readings at a site close to the Spencers Creek snow course. This near real-time snow depth information is available HERE.
