Today at Perisher
Three resort areas interlinked!
Happy Friday and good morning from Perisher! We have some high cloud about this morning and the chance of a snow flurry, but the forecast is calling for a mostly sunny day. Conditions are expected to clear as the day wears on.
It's currently -1°C in Perisher Valley with a forecast top of 4°C. The wind is blowing from the west at around 20km/h and should stay that way for most of the day.
178 snow guns ran from 4:30pm yesterday until about midnight, when the relative humidity rose.
The great news is we have 41 lifts scheduled to run today, with Interceptor opening yesterday and Sun Valley and Freedom Quad scheduled for today. Plus, three resort areas connected, with skiing between Perisher Valley, Blue Cow and Guthega now on offer. You can ski from Perisher to Smiggins via Piper T-Bar, but you'll need to take the free Guest Shuttle to return to Perisher Valley.
With 62 runs groomed across the resort, it's going to be a great day out there, with plenty of room to explore. The groomers will be fast and off-piste will be variable, check it out before going all in!
In events, the Blue Cow Cup kicks off today, now relocated to Perisher, with racing on Front Valley. Plus check out live entertainment at Mid Station, Blue Cow and Jax during the day.
Have a great day out there!
