Today at Perisher
Cold Nights, Corduroy Mornings
Good Morning!
It was another cold night here in Perisher, with temperatures dropping to -4°C. Thanks to the chilly conditions, our snowmaking team has been hard at work, with 130 snow guns running overnight across the resort.
Today, expect partly cloudy skies with moderate NNE winds and a high of 6°C. The solid base is topped with freshly groomed corduroy that will soften as the day goes on.
With school holidays now wrapped up, the resort will begin to quieten down as we head into the second half of July, perfect for slowing the pace and discovering more of the mountain's wide-open terrain.
As always, alpine conditions can change rapidly. Check the Perisher Lift Report and opt-in to ‘Snow & Weather’ and ‘Lift & Operations’ notifications in the Perisher app for the latest updates.
WHAT TO WEAR:
It’s a cool start, so we recommend lightweight, breathable base layers that will keep you comfortable as the temperature climbs. The sun will be out, so don’t forget your sunscreen. Missing something? Pop by Perisher Sports or Slopestyle, where our expert team will have you set up with everything you need!
LENS OF THE DAY:
A variable lens is your go-to today, giving you flexibility as alpine conditions shift throughout the day.
