Today at Perisher
10cm since yesterday and more forecast!
The wintery weather continues at Perisher, where it's currently a mix of sun and cloud at 0°C. Yesterday's blizzard-like conditions carried on into the evening, dropping another 10cm of fresh snow in the last 24 hours. Check the snowstake to see it for yourself!
Tuesday is shaping up to be a cloudy day with a top of 2°C and scattered snow showers. Winds will tend west to north-westerly at 30 to 45 km/h, with stronger gusts up to 67 km/h moving through at times.
41 lifts are set to spin today, though high winds may affect operations, so keep an eye on the lift report or download the Perisher App for real-time updates.
The grooming team has prepared 54 runs for today's skiing and boarding. With yesterday's blizzard followed by last night's mix of snowfall and light snowmaking, expect hard-packed conditions with a layer of softer snow on top. Visibility may also be reduced, so please take care out there.
Looking ahead, the forecast for tomorrow says we should see another 5-10cm fall. Fingers crossed!
