Today at Perisher

POW DAY ALERT!

Wake up, it’s a pow day! It’s been a dream start to the season and it’s only getting better.

The storm has well and truly arrived, with 25cm of fresh snow falling overnight, bringing the weekend total to 45cm (and counting!!)

We’re set for another great day on the hill with freshly groomed laps on Front Valley, the V8 and now the Mitchell T-Bar spinning, and Carpets 3 and 4 running for beginners and groms. The Slopestyle Mini Park is also back open for those keen to lap some early-season features.

Thanks to another night of freezing temps, the snowmakers have been hard at work again, with 57 guns firing across the hill to give Mother Nature a boost.

Today we're expecting snowfall, a top of -1°C and light, north-westerly winds. Make sure you're rugged up and keeping your eye on the Perisher lift report for updates.

There’s heaps happening around Perisher this long weekend with PEAK Music Festival rolling into Day 3, kicking off from 9:30am in Jax Bar on Front Valley. There’s plenty of fun for the little ones too, with our friends Yabadoo bringing the entertainment at 10am in Perisher Centre.Plus, head to the Perisher Valley Skitube Terminal to explore some great local art between 10am-3pm, catch some local talent at Open Mic from 12:30pm-3pm, or join a guided village walk at 3pm.
