What to expect

Whether it's your first time or you are an experienced skier or snowboarder who loves a challenge our team will work with you to improve your skills and enjoy your time on-snow. Check out our information below for a seamless experience:

All adult group lessons are capped by lesson time and lesson location, changes to pre-allocated lesson locations and times cannot be made on-snow. Please see our ticket office to inquire on changes.
Adult lessons start at 9am OR 11am sharp, please arrive early to ensure you're ready to start on time. Please note: Once group lessons have left the meeting area late arrivals may not be able to join.
Class allocation and lesson check-in/check-out is included in your 2 hour lesson duration.
Special instructor requests cannot be made for group lessons.

How to optimise your lesson experience

Looking to optimise your adult lesson experience? Follow our tips below:

Book online and in advance for the best savings. Advanced bookings for consecutive multi-day lessons also allow our team to secure the same instructor for your group lesson.
We aim to maximise time on snow for all guests. If you are staying off mountain, please think about morning travel time and potential delays. If you need to collect hire gear on the mountain, we recommend arriving at least 1 hour before lesson time to get set up with equipment.
When arriving at the lesson meeting place, let the instructor know previous on-snow experience and your current ability level as well as your expected lesson outcome to assist with suitable class allocation.

Meeting location and lesson levels

Meet at the applicable level sign at the following locations:

Perisher Valley - Lesson meeting place, below the Village Eight chairlift.
Smiggin Holes - Lesson meeting place, in front of the Smiggins Hotel.

Lesson Levels - Where do you fit?

First Timer - First time on snow or need to refresh basics - Learning how to make basic turns and safely ride a lift.
Beginner - You know the basics and ride beginner lifts - Expand your ability and learn to control speed on green runs.
Intermediate - Can confidently link turns and control speed on green runs - Take your skills onto blue terrain.
Advanced - You have mastered every groomed run prepare for more challenging terrain.
