First-timer and beginner lessons are available every day of the week out of Smiggin Holes, Perisher's best beginner terrain. With plenty of green runs and first-timer-friendly lifts, it truly is the perfect spot to learn to ski or snowboard. With learn to turn packages, 3-day beginner bundles and first-timer specific lessons on offer - there's never been a better time to take to the slopes! 

3-Day Beginner Bundle

The 3-Day Beginner Bundle is the perfect for any adult who's never skied or snowboarded before or hasn't been in years. It includes everything you need to learn to ski or board and fall in love with the snow. Over three consecutive days you'll build your skills with daily group lessons, beginner terrain access, and rentals all included - everything you need to go from beginner to finding your feet on the slopes.

• 3 x consecutive days of limited lift access

1-Day Learn to Turn Program

The Learn to Turn Program is perfect for children or adults who have never skied or snowboarded before. The program includes a specialised beginner group lesson and a limited access lift ticket for you to continue to practice your turns post lesson!

What's included?

• 2-hour beginner group lesson (adults 15+) or 3-hour beginner lesson (child)
• Beginner access lift ticket

What to expect

• Morning, specialised beginner group lessons out of Perisher, Blue Cow or Smiggin Holes
• Access to sheltered, beginner terrain during your lesson where you can learn the fundamentals and build confidence
• Limited access lift ticket so you can continue to practice after your lesson

Smiggins Adult 2-Hour Lesson

Adult First-Timer Lessons out of Smiggin Holes are available every day of the week so you can start your snow journey off with confidence and learn the basics in a fun, supportive environment. Perfect for those new to the snow or beginners looking for a refresher before they explore the slopes.

What to expect

• Group lessons at Smiggin Holes will help you get started or find your feet on snow again
• The terrain provides the perfect place to learn and progress in a sheltered, confidence inspiring area of the mountain
• Experienced instructors will help you build confidence, learn the fundamentals and progress at a comfortable pace in a fun supportive environment

• Lesson start time: 10:30am
• Meeting place: Smiggin Holes
• Age: 15+
• Lift ticket required and must be purchased separately

Smiggins Kids' 3-Hour Lesson

Kids' first-timer lessons out of Smiggin Holes are designed for children new to skiing and snowboarding. It is the perfect place for little skiers and boarders to fall in love with the snow. Lessons are available everyday of the week, commencing at 10am and finishing at 1pm so you have time for your own first-timer lesson!

What to expect

• Kids group lessons at Smiggin Holes will ensure kids have the best start to skiing and snowboarding possible
• The Smiggins terrain provides the perfect place to learn and progress in a sheltered, confidence inspiring area of the mountain
• Experienced instructors will help kids build confidence, learn the fundamentals and progress at a comfortable pace in a fun supportive environment

• Lesson start time: 10:00am
• Meeting place: Smiggin Holes
• Age: 3-14 for ski OR 7-14 for snowboard
