🥉Perisher congratulates Matt Graham on Bronze at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games ⛷️
16 February 2026
Perisher proudly congratulates longtime ambassador and Australian team captain Matt Graham on winning bronze in the Dual Moguls event at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, Australia’s fifth medal in four days and the nation’s third Moguls medal of the Games.
The podium, shared with Japan’s Ikuma Horishima and Canada’s Mikael Kingsbury, became an instant Games highlight, celebrated as the “dad podium.” It also marked Matt’s second Olympic medal of his career, following his PyeongChang 2018 Silver.
“Matt continues to inspire Australians with his determination, humility and worldclass talent. We’re incredibly proud to call him part of the Perisher family,” said Nathan Butterworth, Vice President + General Manager Perisher Ski Resort. “As we invest in the future of mogul skiing, Matt’s leadership and legacy continue to guide the next generation.”
Proudly shaped by Perisher’s mogul community, Graham has been a resort ambassador for more than a decade. In 2018, Perisher honoured his contribution to Australian snowsports and Olympic silver medal by naming the Cold Shoulder moguls course at Blue Cow: Mogul Matts. This course is now used for athlete development, as well as Interschools and the NSW Mogul Championships for all levels of competition.
Perisher is well known for its world-class Perisher Winter Sports Club, a proven development pathway for many of Australia’s Winter Olympians, and in 2025, a partnership with the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA) fired up Olympic hopes with two new state-of-the-art snow guns at Toppa’s Dream mogul course at Perisher’s Blue Cow, which provided the best possible training environment for Australia’s top mogul skiers as they prepared for the Olympics. The resort also introduced priority lift access for athletes last season to improve training efficiency and progression opportunities.
“We couldn’t be prouder of the Australian team competing in Italy,” said Nathan. “In a small industry like ours, it’s the shared passion and decades of investment in athlete development across all ski resorts that make achievements like this possible. Our athletes inspire us every day and seeing them succeed on the world stage means everything to our community.”
