17 June 2025
Just when you thought we were done with openings… think again! We’re excited to announce that Blue Cow will officially open this Saturday, 21 June. With a strong start to the season already underway, we’re thrilled to be unlocking more terrain for skiers and snowboarders to explore.
A Strong Start Thanks to Cold Nights and Hard Work
A solid run of cold temps and the tireless efforts of our snowmaking team have helped build a strong early-season base.
Thanks to their efforts, we’re now seeing good coverage across the mountain for this time of year, especially in Blue Cow and Guthega.
What’s Opening at Blue Cow and Guthega?
From Saturday, you’ll be able to enjoy a mix of beginner and intermediate terrain across Blue Cow and Guthega. Scheduled lift openings include:
- Early Starter Double Chair
- Terminal Quad
- Summit Quad
- Carpark Double (Guthega)
- Pony Ride
Just a heads-up: there’s currently no access to Guthega via Blue Cow. Our mountain operations team is hard at work, and we’ll open it as soon as conditions allow and it’s safe to do so.
There is currently no ski or snowboard access between open resort areas. Blue Cow is only accessible via the Skitube. Check the timetable here.
