The past few weeks at Perisher have delivered exactly what we dream of, steady snowfall, cold temps, and great conditions across the resort.
A pretty persistent front has been moving through the mountains, already delivering over 50cm of fresh snow and setting us up for one of the strongest stretches of the season so far. With the snowpack continuing to deepen and terrain continuining to expand, it’s prime time to experience everything the mountain has to offer.
With the snow base now sitting comfortably above 170cm, all four resort areas, Perisher Valley, Blue Cow, Smiggin Holes and Guthega, are wide open and ready to be ripped into. Whether you're chasing cruisy corduroy, scenic ridgelines or playful pockets in the trees, the Perisher's terrain is absolutely firing.
Right now, skiers and boarders have over 90 freshly groomed trails to explore daily, thanks to our hardworking grooming team and a little overnight snowmaking magic. And with 44 lifts spinning, getting around the mountain is fast, easy, and full of options, whether you’re lapping your favourite spot or chasing new lines across the resort.
The atmosphere has been electric. Fresh snow always lifts the vibe, but the mix of sun breaks, wind-blown stashes, and well-covered runs is keeping things interesting. From first lifts to final turns, there’s a sense that winter is truly dialled in, and it’s only building from here as we roll into August.
