6 October, 2025
Some seasons are good. Some are great. And then there are the ones that feel truly unforgettable. Where the snow keeps coming, the stoke is sky-high, and the hill seems to hold a little extra magic.
2025 was one of those seasons.
The Season That Kept On Giving
From the very start, winter came charging. Opening Weekend welcomed a season-starting storm, dropping 38cm of June snow, enough to set the V8 spinning from day one. And that was just the beginning...
June stacked up to 123cm in total, with fresh snow falling almost every week and all four resort areas opening before the month was out. July followed suit, bringing another 95cm and locking in the coverage with freezing nights and some awesome stints of snowmaking.
By August, the entire mountain was alive with every lift spinning and endless options to explore. And then came the storm of the season…a 68cm dump in late August, pushing our base over two metres for the first time in two years.
Even as spring rolled in, the snowpack held strong, offering long, sunny laps and playful conditions right through to the final weeks. Then, just when we thought it was all winding down, October delivered a surprise 7cm snowfall, topping up the hill and gifting riders one last unforgettable powder day to send the season out in style.

More Than Just Awesome Conditions
Of course, snowfall alone doesn’t make a season unforgettable. It’s the people, the moments, and the magic in between.
2025 was the year we soared to new heights with the debut of the Mt Perisher 6 chairlift. Opened on 27 June, the Mt P 6 is so much more than Australia’s highest lifted point…it’s a statement of our commitment to the future. We were especially stoked to gift 6 of our youngest Epic Australia Pass holders the very first ride on the Mt P 6, complete with birthday cake and ‘Happy Birthday’ sung at bottom station.
Across the season, the Perisher was alive with energy:
- We turned Front Valley into a showcase of style and progression with the inaugural Val’s Blue Steel Rail Jam presented by Oakley
- Snow Australia’s inaugural Adaptive Festival brought everyone from first-timers to Paralympians together for two days of on-snow fun, skill-building, and community, setting a new standard for inclusive snowsports
- Perisher Parks Showdown once again delivered world-class tricks, while the Roxy x Quiksilver Mini Rail Jam gave the next generation their spotlight
- Rad Dad Day debuted, celebrating the legends passing their passion to the next generation, and the ROJO Women’s Confidence Camp created space for women to level up their park skills
The soundtrack of winter was just as vibrant. What So Not, Ball Park Music, Bliss n Eso, Illy, The Rubens, Ruby Fields and more lit up The Station in Jindabyne. Surprise mid-mountain sets from What So Not and Illy brought the boogie to the hill, and CYRIL’s performance at Jax Bar turned Front Valley into a festival stage.
Beyond the headline events, Perisher’s calendar was packed every week with experiences that kept the mountain buzzing. Night skiing & boarding lit up Front Valley under lights and fireworks, while Subaru WRX First Tracks gave early risers the thrill of carving fresh corduroy before anyone else.
2025 also saw the launch of the Perisher Passport Adventure, inviting our smallest guests to explore the hill in a whole new way. From completing challenges across different areas of the resort to collect stamps along the way, the Passport turned every lap into an adventure and every stop into a moment to celebrate.
On top of it all, Perisher once again proved itself a global stage, attracting athletes from around the world to train for the 2026 Winter Olympics. From local groms trying first tricks to Olympians fine-tuning podium runs, the mix of talent made every lap electric.

The Snow That Framed It All
And through it all, the snow was the canvas. Powder mornings, perfect corduroy at Subaru WRX First Tracks, forgiving spring laps, families discovering their first turns…it framed the moments that made winter 2025 so special.
Thank You, 2025!
This season wasn’t defined by totals, lifts, or even events. It was defined by moments: the shared stoke of a chairlift chat, the thrill of learning something new, the cheer of a crowd, or the quiet of a mountain sunrise.
Thank you to everyone who made winter 2025 one to remember, from our hardworking teams, our passionate guests, and the entire Perisher community.
The snow will melt, but the memories remain. Here’s to dreaming big, making memories, and returning to Perisher to discover your next moment in 2026.
