After another 10cm overnight, bringing the weekly snowfall total to 18cm, we couldn’t be more excited to announce that Perisher, Blue Cow and Guthega will all be interconnected from tomorrow!
There's a moment every skier chases. The one where the trail opens up and suddenly the whole mountain reveals itself. From tomorrow, Perisher has more of those moments waiting.
Perisher Valley, Blue Cow and Guthega are now connected by trail. Not by Skitube. Not by road. By snow.
This is due to the extraordinary work of the Mountain Operations teams and a little help from Mother Nature. Snowmakers, groomers, maintenance and lift teams have worked hard to pull this together. The best skiing and riding in the resort remains the snowmaking areas – but getting around to explore just got easier! Plus, with plenty more snow in the forecast, it’s only going to get better.
Explore Perisher Valley
Wide, welcoming, and something for everyone. Perisher Valley is home to beginner runs that build confidence and terrain that keeps growing with you. Spend some time here and you'll find the rhythm of the mountain: long groomed runs, the hum of the terrain parks, night skiing lighting up the slopes twice a week. And now, from Perisher Valley, you can connect to Blue Cow via Interceptor, which opened for the season today.
Discover Blue Cow
Named for a cow that vanished each spring and reappeared the following winter grazing on the mountain (locals still tell the story), Blue Cow has always felt like a place with its own gravity. You can ski straight to it from Perisher, or mix things up and start your day there by taking the Skitube from Perisher Valley. Green runs like Pleasant Valley roll into blues like Zali's and Roller Coaster, and the views make you start to feel like you’re really in the mountains. There's a version of Blue Cow for every kind of day, and for the first time this season, you can simply ski your way there and find out which one is waiting for you.
From Blue Cow, you can continue on to Guthega or connect back to Perisher Valley via Copperhead Road.
And out past Blue Cow, the mountains open up completely
Guthega has always rewarded the guests who make the effort to reach it, and now that effort is simply a run away. A variety of trails are on offer for all abilities beneath breathtaking views of the Main Range that stop skiers and riders mid-turn to take a photo. Refuel at one of the venues on offer, take in the panorama, then head back to Blue Cow via Blue Cow Way.
