Monday at Perisher
Good morning and welcome to a new week at Perisher!
It’s a crisp start to the day with a top of just 2°C expected on the mountain, along with a light dusting of snow from last night's weather. We’re in for mostly cloudy skies, with a chance of snow showers and a potential thunderstorm rolling through late this morning into the afternoon. Winds have eased to a moderate West-Southwesterly.
Our grooming team has been hard at work overnight, laying fresh corduroy on 32 runs. The snow is firm first thing, but it’s expected to soften as the morning progresses, making the groomed runs your best bet today.
As we move into the final weeks of the season, operations will begin to gradually wind down, with all lifts at Blue Cow now closed. It’s been an incredible winter, and to keep as much terrain open for as long as possible, we’ll be focusing our efforts on select resort areas to deliver the best possible experience right through to our projected closing day on Monday, 6 October.
Refer to the Perisher Lift Report and Grooming Report and follow us on Facebook or Instagram to stay updated on operations over the next few weeks.
Remember alpine conditions can be unpredictable. For real-time updates, monitor the Perisher lift report and download the Perisher app and make sure to opt-in to 'Snow & Weather' and 'Lifts & Operations' notifications.
What to Wear:
It’s going to be chilly out there this morning, so make sure to bundle up with a thermal base layer and a warm jacket!
