Today at Perisher

School's Out!

Good morning!

The NSW school holidays kick off today, and what better way to start than with a day on the slopes! It’s a cool and cloudy start to your Saturday with temps dropping to -3°C overnight, perfect for our snowmakers to fire up 10 snow guns across the resort and for our grooming team to lay down a fresh layer of corduroy for your early moring laps.

We’re expecting temps to rise to a top of 5°C throughout the day, with light northwesterly winds breezing through the mountains.

34 lifts are expected to spin today, including Eyre T-Bar, giving you access to 48 freshly groomed runs.

Subaru WRX First Tracks is back on this morning from 7:30am. If you’re an Epic Australia Pass Holder, you can enjoy exclusive access to untouched cord well before the rest of the mountain opens.

And don’t pack it in too early, Night Skiing and Fireworks are lighting up Front Valley tonight! Join us under the stars for an unforgettable evening on snow.

Alpine conditions can change suddenly which may affect lift operations. Keep an eye on the Perisher lift report and opt-in to 'Snow & Weather' and 'Lift & Operations' notifications on the Perisher app to stay updated.

Please note: Blue Cow is accessible from Perisher via Skitube with a valid 2025 Epic Australia Pass or lift ticket. We're excited to share that ski and snowboard access is now open from Blue Cow back to Perisher via Pleasant Valley, as well as between Blue Cow and Guthega, giving you even more ways to explore the mountain.

WHAT TO WEAR

It’s a chilly start this morning, so layer up with breathable base layers and a waterproof outer shell to stay warm and dry as the day unfolds.

LENS OF THE DAY

We recommend a variable lens today, with a mix of sun and cloud cover, visibility may shift throughout the day.
