5cm to end the storm and a clear day ahead!

What should be the last of the storm rolled through last night, and we had another 5cm overnight, bringing the storm total to 33cm. Temps dropped to -3°C and the snowguns fired up at around 11pm and are still running this morning to build on the natural snowfall.

The forecast is for a sunny day, with a top of 7°C and winds southwesterly 35 to 55 km/h, tending west to southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the early afternoon.

We're expecting 21 lifts to spin today, and the wind hold of the last few days should have passed. The groomers will be firm and fast, and with the variable storm temperatures followed by a clear night, I'd expect off-piste to have set up, so recommend waiting for it to soften on the sunny aspects before getting too adventurous.

We have another day of Sydney Interschools on Front Valley and Leichhardt - good luck to everyone competing. Smiggin Holes fireworks are also on tonight at 8pm.
