Lacing a run from top to bottom through the Front Valley Terrain Park is your ticket to glory in the 2018 Perisher Parks Showdown. Perisher’s premiere open Slopestyle event will see competitors linking the series of rails and jumps, forged together by the craftsmanship of the Terrain Park crew. Competitors attempt their best tricks to lay down the run of the day to impress the judges.

Style, creativity, execution, flow and difficulty are all rewarded. A spectacle for both spectators and riders makes the Showdown an event not to be missed. 

With over $10,000 in cash & prizes to be won, Australia's best skiers and riders will lay it all on the line to walk away with the rewards.

Where: Front Valley Slopestyle Terrain Park

Who: Age Divisions; 

  • Grommet (12 years & under, born 2006 - 2012)
  • Youth (13 to 14 years, born 2005 - 2004)
  • Rookies (15 to 19 years, born 2003 - 1999)
  • Opens (19+ years, born 1998 +)

Format: Ski & Snowboard Slopestyle. 2 Runs, best run counts (to be confirmed at riders meeting on day) 

Riders Meeting & Bib Collection: 7:30am, Perisher SkiTube Building, day of event. 

Helmets: Helmets are mandatory to compete. 

Bibs: Bibs will be available at the Team Captain’s Meeting from 7:30-8:15. Lost, stolen and unreturned bibs will result in a replacement fee of $40 per bib, charged to the card on file from registration.

Lift Tickets: Competitor tickets can be purchased online at the time of entry or at the Perisher ticket offices located at Bullocks Flat and the Skitube Terminal in Perisher on the day of competition .

FIS ELIGABILTY: All athletes wanting to take advantage of the FIS points and Rankings must be members of FIS, and must be entered officially via a FIS Entry Form.
