Today at Perisher

Cold Front Rolling In!

After an icy overnight low of -3°C, our snowmakers were hard at work firing up 95 snow guns across the resort, freshening up the trails and setting you up for a great day on the mountain.

Today, we’re in for mostly sunny skies with a top of 2°C, so get out there early and enjoy some crisp morning laps! Another cold front is rolling through, damaging winds and blizzard conditions are expected to develop later into the afternoon, bringing with it 10-20cm of snow over the next few days.

42 lifts are expected to spin today bringing us to 79 groomed runs. The Quad Express is now open to Top Station which means you can ski across to the wild wild west side of Perisher via the Blue Cow Expressway.

Lift Operations Update

With the winds picking up, lift operations may be affected throughout the day. Be sure to stay informed by checking the Perisher Lift Report and opt-in to ‘Snow & Weather’ and ‘Lift & Operations’ notifications in the Perisher app for the latest updates.

Subaru WRX First Tracks is On
Epic Australia Pass holders, your early access session is running this morning at Leichhardt and V8. Conditions are looking great, don’t miss it.

Peak Snow Days

With fantastic early-season conditions and the launch of our brand new 6-seater chairlift on Mt Perisher, we’re expecting Perisher to be buzzing these school holidays, we call these Peak Snow Days. If you’re planning to hit the slopes, we recommend you plan ahead and allow for extra time, especially if you have a morning Snowsports lesson.

What To Wear

It’s going to be a chilly one today, so make sure to dress warmly with thermal base layers and waterproof outerwear to protect against the elements. Missing something? Drop into Perisher Sports or Slopestyle and let our expert team help you get mountain-ready.

Lens of the Day

With incoming weather this afternoon, we would suggest a variable lens is your best bet to keep your visibility clear on the slopes.

Live Music Lineup

There’s live music throughout the day to keep the energy high:

  • Thunder Fox | 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM @ Blue Cow

  • Craig Woodward | 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ JAX Bar

  • Andy V | 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Happy Jacks

Have a great day!
