Bluebird But Windy Monday

Strong winds are expected today, for updates on lift operations, check the Perisher Lift Report and opt-in to Snow & Weather and Lift & Operations notifications in the Perisher App.

Good morning and welcome to a new week at Perisher!

It’s set to be a wild and windy day out on the mountain with strong north-westerly winds, but with clear skies, sunshine, and a top of 10°C, there’s still plenty of fun to be had. Rug up and make the most of our extensive network of T-bars to keep the laps going.

We're looking at spring snow conditions today. The base is hard-packed but will soften early this morning as the sun gets to work. Our grooming team has prepared 65 runs, which will be at their best first up.

Get out there and enjoy that corduroy!

What to Wear:

That wind has some bite! Layer up with a warm thermal base, waterproof outerwear, and a balaclava to stay protected; and don’t forget the sunscreen! Need an extra layer? Swing past Perisher Sports or Slopestyle, where we have 30% off outerwear, footwear, and apparel. *Exclusions apply.

Lens of the Day:
The sun is shining! A variable or high light lens will be the pick today.

Coming Up At Perisher:
Subaru WRX First Tracks is back next weekend! Epic Australia Pass holders can lap freshly groomed corduroy on V8 and Leichhardt before the mountain officially opens.

*Natural snow depth is supplemented with snowmaking in certain areas. Natural snow depth is measured at roughly 1,830m by Snowy Hydro Limited who have invested in new instrumentation across the Snowy Scheme and can now provide more frequent snow depth readings at a site close to the Spencers Creek snow course. This near real-time snow depth information is available HERE.
