Today at Perisher

The Front Has Arrived!

Good morning!

We won’t beat around the bush, it’s a wet one out there today.

A severe weather warning has been issued, with strong, damaging winds sweeping across the snowy mountains. This may impact lift operations throughout the day, keep an eye on the Perisher lift report and opt-in to 'Snow & Weather' and 'Lift & Operations' notifications on the Perisher app to stay updated.

While the morning may feel a bit soggy, there’s a silver (or should we say white?) lining, temperatures are forecast to drop, and blizzard conditions are expected to develop as the day goes on. That means the rain is likely to turn to snow showers. WOO HOO! Safe to say we’re 6x more excited for the weekend...

We’re heading for a top of 6°C today, with 11 runs freshly groomed overnight to help make the most of the conditions. Roads are slippery and wet this morning, so please drive carefully. We highly recommend jumping on the Skitube for a safer and smoother ride up the hill.

WHAT TO WEAR?
Waterproof outerwear is your best friend today. Stay dry, stay warm, and you’ll still have a blast out there. Need to gear up? Swing by Slopestyle or Perisher Sports, our friendly retail crew have all the latest wet-weather gear to get you mountain-ready.

It’s a great day to stop into one of our hospitality venues for an Epic Hot Chocolate, the perfect way to warm up and recharge between laps.

Please note: There is currently no ski or snowboard access between open resort areas. Blue Cow is only accessible via the Skitube with a valid 2025 Season Pass or Day Lift Ticket. Our Mountain Operations team is hard at work and we’ll open as soon as conditions allow!

  • Lens of the day: Mostly cloudy today! We would recommend a low light lens.

With the opening of our brand new, 6-seater chairlift on Mt Perisher fast approaching and a heap of exciting events in the calendar, we're gearing up for a history-making season at Perisher.

Slush laps are on today!
