Thursday 1 September - Kicking off spring with 79 groomed runs!

In Perisher conditions are wet due to rain falling in the resort.

The groomers were still able to pack down 79 runs for riders as we kick off the first day of spring. With conditions a little slower and softer, it’s a good time for beginner skiers and boarders to head out, with Front Valley and Happy Valley the perfect starting points.

42 lifts are getting you to Perisher, Smiggin Holes, Blue Cow and Guthega. To keep up to date with any changes in lift status please click HERE

Five progressive PlayStation terrain parks are expected to open, with a kicker, box or rail to suit the beginner freerider, right through to the seasoned expert.

Weatherwise today, a partly cloudy day is on the way with bursts of sun expected. We may see snow above 1800m later on which is good news for the upper mountain. The wind should remain light today too.

The Epic Australia Pass is on sale now and is the best value season pass for Australians, providing year-round skiing and riding; unlimited, unrestricted skiing at Perisher in 2017, access to the Best of the U.S., including 10 days at Vail, Beaver Creek, and access to Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City in Utah; and Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in the Lake Tahoe region of California during the 2017/18 season.
