Welcome to 2019!

Happy New Year everyone!  We hope you’ve all had a safe and enjoyable festive season and are as excited about 2019 as we are.  Recruitment for the upcoming winter will get into full swing over the next few weeks and we look forward to working with all the new and return employees for another Epic winter.  Progress on the new Leichhardt Chairlift and heaps of other new projects are kicking off as well.

There are currently 2 x Full Time Traineeships open for application with a start to commence in February.  Both traineeships would suit a recent school leaver looking to gain experience and a qualification in either Business Administration or Human Resources.  If you know someone who may be has what it takes and is interested in applying , get them to log onto the Perisher website and apply today at  Perisher Jobs. Trainee Workshops Administrator 

Under the direction of Workshops management, the role will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Workshops Department.

Duties will include data entry, radio and telephone communications, filing and archiving, assisting with preparing reports and participating in bi-annual stocktake. As part of the Traineeship, the successful applicant will undertake a Certificate IV in Business Administration through a tertiary institution.

Trainee Human Resources Administrator

Under the direction of Human Resources senior staff, the role will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Human Resources Department.

Duties will include face-to-face, email and telephone communications, data entry, filing and archiving, assisting with recruitment and onboarding of seasonal staff and processing On-Mountain Staff Accommodation check-ins. As the role will be the first point of contact for staff presenting in person at the Human Resources Office in Perisher Valley, high-quality customer service and a genuine willingness to assist internal customers is a must. As part of the Traineeship, the successful applicant will undertake a Certificate IV in Human Resources through a tertiary institution.

Full Time Skitube Track Inspector

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a full time, year round position with the Skitube Maintenance team as a Track Inspector.

This role would be for an immediate start and will be paid under the Perisher Trades EA.
