Leichhardt Quad Chairlift Update
With less than 100 days until winter, it's full steam ahead here at Perisher! The temperature has started to drop and work on the site of the NEW $4.2 Million Leichhardt Quad Chairlift is GO, GO, GO!
Check out what’s been going on:
- Chairlift towers, bull wheels and other components arrived on site.
- Helicopter and crane services were used to install the 6 new lift towers and cross-heads (where the cable sits).
- Final stages of construction are now underway with work being completed on station masts, bull wheels and operator (liftie) huts!
The NEW Leichhardt Quad Chairlift will increase lifting capacity in the area by a whopping 75% PLUS NEW snowmaking installation will see early access from Happy Valley T-Bar to the base of the new chair! It's shaping up to be an EPIC winter!
