Today at Perisher

Sunshine on the way for Wednesday!

It's a mild start to the day at Perisher, with the temperature currently sitting at 0°C. Things will warm up to a top of 7°C as the day progresses, with plenty of sunshine through the morning and some cloud cover rolling in during the afternoon.

Our snowmaking team fired up the guns for a few hours in the early evening when temperatures were at their coolest, and will keep chasing every opportunity that conditions allow.

Winds will stay gentle out of the south, topping out at 18km/h, and making for lovely conditions to enjoy the sunshine.

For now, the Front Valley Conveyor and Harry's & Herman's Conveyor at Smiggin Holes are both open for those looking to find their feet or shake off the rust. The Hike Park is also open for those keen to get a few laps in on the rails and boxes.

*Natural snow depth is supplemented with snowmaking in certain areas. Natural snow depth is measured at roughly 1,830m by Snowy Hydro Limited who have invested in new instrumentation across the Snowy Scheme and can now provide more frequent snow depth readings at a site close to the Spencers Creek snow course. This near real-time snow depth information is available HERE.
