Perisher Ski Resort has kicked off their annual recruitment drive for seasonal staff to join them for an unforgettable winter at the beautiful Kosciuszko National Park in the Snowy Mountains area of New South Wales.
“Seasonal work, especially at the snow, is an exciting career option and a great way to gain experience, learn skills and make lifelong friends,” said Kylie Spicer, Talent Acquisition Manager for Vail Resorts Australia, which also owns Hotham and Falls Creek alpine resorts in Victoria and 47 resorts globally including Whistler Blackcomb and Vail in North America.
Many of the jobs available are working outdoors in the beautiful natural mountain surroundings and offer benefits such as free lift passes and lessons, as well as 40% off retail purchases in Vail Resorts-owned hospitality and retail outlets.
As part of the Vail Resorts global operations, there’s also the chance to tap into summer employment with our Northern Hemisphere resorts to chase winter year-round.
“Whether it’s your first time seeing snow or you were born on the slopes, we’d love to welcome you to the team,” said Kylie. “Work and play in the mountains and discover (or re-discover) a passion for the outdoors.”
Positions include snowmakers, groomers, lift operators, food and beverage attendants, ski instructors, chefs, kitchen hands, guest services assistants, housekeepers and more!
