This winter, the mountains are calling — and everyone is invited. Whether carving first turns or returning to the slopes after years off, it’s now easier than ever to learn how to ski and snowboard with Vail Resorts’ newest Epic Australia Pass: the Epic Beginner Bundle. Following the launch of the Epic Australia 4-Day Pass in winter 2025, Vail Resorts has furthered its commitment to make skiing and snowboarding more accessible with a new Pass designed to introduce adults to the sport across Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham.
Combining three flexible days of beginner lift access, lessons and rentals, the Epic Beginner Bundle is available for adults, ages 18 and up, at an unprecedented value of AUD$499 ($167 per day). The Bundle also provides discounts on additional lift tickets, lessons and rentals for the rest of the 2026 season. Plus, guests skiing and boarding with the Epic Beginner Bundle this season will receive 20% off a 2027 Epic Australia Pass or Epic Australia 4-Day Pass for next season.*
“We created the Epic Beginner Bundle to make it easy for adults to learn how to ski or snowboard and set them up for future success,” said Nathan Butterworth, General Manager of Perisher Resort. “We’ve seen that three days on the slopes with expert instruction is often the moment it clicks — when guests build confidence and start to fall in love with the sport. By combining lift access, lessons and rentals into one bookable experience at an accessible price, our goal is to make it easier to say ‘yes’ to learning something new and provide benefits that make it easier to keep coming back for years to come.”
Lift Access, Lessons and Rentals for $167 Per Day
Priced at just $167 per day, the Epic Beginner Bundle includes everything needed to get started on snow while delivering exceptional value with savings of up to 65% off.** For each of the three days, guests ages 18+ receive access to an adult group lesson led by an expert instructor, rental gear and lift access to green runs. Intermediate and advanced terrain are not accessible on this Pass. The bundle offers flexibility to use the three days consecutively or spread them throughout the season and choose where to ski each day, allowing guests to learn at their own pace and explore different mountains.
The Epic Beginner Bundle has limited availability, so guests are encouraged to purchase now at epicaustraliapass.com.au and resort websites. Once purchased, guests log into their account to reserve beginner lift access, group lessons and equipment rentals at their chosen resort. Reservations are required for each of the three days. While there are no blackout dates, availability may be limited on peak days, so planning ahead is recommended.
The Epic Beginner Bundle also unlocks in‑season benefits, including additional lift tickets at a discounted rate and 20% off lessons and rentals all winter long — making it easier to return during the same season, progress skills and explore new terrain. Additional benefits include 15% off select dining, retail and lodging.
