Australia’s favourite and largest ski resort, Perisher is in fantastic shape with over a metre of snow falling in the resort this past week providing perfect conditions for all skiers and snowboarders. Snowy Hydro today reported the best snow levels since 2013 with a snow depth of 179cm at Spencers Creek.
The snow depth of 179cm ensures an amazing August and September. All 47 lifts are open across Perisher Valley, Blue Cow, Smiggin Holes and Guthega, accessing 7 mountain peaks across 1,245 hectares and over 100 groomed runs. There has been no better time to visit Perisher than now to experience these amazing conditions.
Perisher’s Chief Operating Officer, Peter Brulisauer, says “The snowfall last week was amazing. We have the best conditions in 4 years and the snow cover through the remainder of August and spring is going to be fantastic for all levels of skiers and boarders.”

The BrewSki Craft Beer and Cider Festival kicks off on 9 September and will showcase a massive selection of Australia’s best craft beers and ciders.
