Today marks the final day of Winter 2026 at Perisher. Despite challenging conditions, our teams threw everything they had at keeping us skiing and riding right up to this point, and we couldn't be prouder to be the last resort spinning lifts for the season!

While it wasn't quite the winter we had planned, there were still plenty of great days, fun turns and memorable moments worth celebrating.

The Most Terrain Open in Australia

Even when Mother Nature didn’t come to the party this season, our Mountain Operations, Grooming, and Snowmaking teams did an incredible job opening and keeping open the most terrain in the country. We had 41 lifts spinning at the peak, with our season running for 112 days – the longest of all resorts in Australia. This took long hours, early starts, and plenty of creativity, and it meant that we could keep chasing turns well into September.

A Buzzing Events Calendar

There was never a dull moment on the mountain this winter. Fan favourites like Night Skiing & Boarding and Subaru WRX First Tracks returned, joined by new experiences including Sunrise Sessions at Blue Cow, Christmas in July, and the Splash & Dash Tube Slide Challenge. Not to mention, a great line up of Australian and international talent playing at The Station all season-long, keeping the good vibes going for guests after their action-packed days on the slopes.

Snowsports Talent From Across the Globe

Our slopes hosted talent at every level, from emerging junior athletes at Interschools through to alpine pros and Olympians. Four rounds of Interschools Competition, Val's Blue Steel Rail Jam, FIS ANC Moguls, and many more ensured we had plenty of action on the hill. Not to mention our amazing instructors who also join us from around the world to teach at Perisher.

But it's not just the big moments that make a season, it's everything in between. It's that first flash of white on the roadside as you wind up the mountain, and the thrill of dropping into terrain you've never skied before. It's a laugh shared on the chairlift, and that breath-catching moment at Blue Cow when you look out and see the Main Range stretched out before you. These are the moments that stay with you long after the snow melts, and the ones that keep bringing you back to Perisher.

To everyone who joined us this winter, thank you. Whether you were chasing first tracks, carving it up at Night Skiing, cheering on the athletes or simply soaking up a good day on the mountain with friends and family, we’re so glad you chose to spend your winter with us.

Thank you also to our team members, our local businesses and operators, and the wider Perisher Valley community. Your energy and support helped make Perisher a special place to visit, and we're grateful to share this mountain with you!

Now it's time to rest and recharge, but we're already looking ahead. The new Mid-Station is due to be ready for next winter, and we can't wait to show you what's in store.
