Friday, Friday, Gotta Get Down to Perisher On Friday!

Well good morning and happy Friday!

It was certainly a chilly one overnight here at Perisher with temperatures dropping to -8°C. Our snowmaking team was out in full force, firing up 158 snow guns across the resort.

Today, expect mostly cloudy skies, with a chance of snow developing into the afternoon. The winds will remain light, coming from the north-east, so conditions will feel crisp early on but should warm up to around 5°C by lunchtime.

The snow is dry and hard packed, with good coverage across the resort. Keep an eye out for some untouched pockets of windblown powder off-piste.

As always, alpine conditions can change quickly, keep an eye on the Perisher Lift Report and opt-in to ‘Snow & Weather’ and ‘Lift & Operations’ notifications in the Perisher app for the latest updates.

With cloud cover changing throughout the day, a variable light lens is your best bet to keep your visibility sharp from first lifts to last laps.
