Winter 2026 at Perisher is shaping up to be a big one. Alongside the skiing and boarding, we’ve got a huge calendar of events running throughout the season – from themed days on the slopes to live entertainment in the evenings.
Whether you’re planning a family trip, a weekend away with mates, or a longer stay, there's something on the mountain for you.

PEAK FESTIVAL
The Snowy Mountains' coolest winter music festival returns for the June long weekend! Across 3 days and 7 stages, Peak Festival brings together local favourites, emerging artists and high-energy DJs in the heart of Perisher Valley. With 30+ acts spanning every genre and mood, there's something for everyone to discover.
When: 5-8 June
NIGHT SKIING
When the sun dips below the mountains, the fun doesn’t stop. Every Tuesday and Saturday night from 20 June, Perisher’s Front Valley transforms into a floodlit wonderland for Night Skiing. Plus, Saturday nights will have live bands and DJs to keep the atmosphere going after your runs!
When: Every Tuesday and Saturday night from June 20, 6:00-8:30pm
OLYMPIC RIDE DAY
Join us at Perisher as we welcome some of Australia's finest Winter Olympians and homegrown Perisher athletes back to our slopes! Hear their incredible stories, grab a signature, and get a photo with your favourite athletes. Stay tuned for the athlete line-up – you won’t be disappointed.

ROXY x QUIKSILVER MINI JAM
Get ready to drop in on the Roxy x Quiksilver Mini Rail Jam - a fun, no-pressure afternoon on the snow designed just for groms who want to slide, laugh, and learn. This mellow jam session features small, beginner-friendly park features, perfect for kids of all abilities to get a taste of freestyle riding. Plus, some of your favourite ROXY and Quiksilver athletes will be on hand to judge the jam and hang out with the kids, sharing tips, cheering them on, and spreading the stoke.

PERISHER PARKS SHOWDOWN
The 2026 Perisher Parks Showdown is a rail jam featuring some of Australia's best skiers and snowboarders battling it out for top honours. Riders will throw down their best tricks as judges reward style, creativity, execution, amplitude, flow and difficulty on a custom-built course crafted by the Perisher Parks crew. Whether you're competing or watching from the sidelines, it's set to be an unmissable spectacle.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Christmas is coming early to Perisher! Join us for a magical day as we fast forward to December with a festive scavenger hunt, a special appearance from Santa himself, and night skiing under the stars. Round out the evening with a stunning fireworks display (weather dependent) for a fitting end to a festive day on the mountain!

VAL'S BLUE STEEL RAIL RUMBLE
After an awesome run at the 2026 Olympics, Val is back on home turf, and he's brought Val's Blue Steel Rail Rumble with him back for another year. Whether you're an up-and-coming grom or a seasoned pro, this is your chance to throw down on Perisher's iconic Blue Steel rails, push your limits, and walk away with some serious cash and prizes.

RAD DADS DAY
Calling all Rad Dads. This Father's Day, pull on your finest double denim and take over the mountain. From laps on the slopes and the iconic Fashion Parade to the Outback BBQ and DJs spinning classics all afternoon, it's a celebration of dad style, good times and great turns. Plus, there are plenty of prizes up for grabs. Rad Dad's Day is back and bigger than ever.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a valid lift pass to attend Perisher events?
All on-mountain events will require a valid lift ticket for the date of the event. However, there are events like Peak Festival and gigs at The Station that are off mountain where a lift ticket isn’t required.
Can beginners take part in events?
Absolutely! Majority of Perisher events are designed for the whole family and all ability levels. If you’re new to skiing or snowboarding, a snowsports lesson is a great way to build your confidence before the big days on the mountain.
Are events suitable for families with children?
Age restrictions and suitability will vary depending on the event. Some events are specifically for children, while others the whole family can enjoy. Please note, some events will also be classed Adults 18+. Use the filter to navigate which events are recommended for which ages.
