We've picked up a fresh 8cm of snow at Perisher over the past couple of days, a very welcome top-up as we head deeper into August. But the real story is what's lining up behind it: the long-range forecast has more snow in the picture throughout the month, and it's shaping up to be a great month to get to the mountain.    

Topping Up Nicely 

After the snow we got in late July, this snowfall has freshened things up across the resort, with 8cm landing since Monday night and more still to come. Every bit counts, and it’s a promising sign that August will bring the goods. We could also see more lifts and terrain opening in the coming days with this fresh snow. Watch this space.  

All Eyes on the Forecast 

This is where it gets exciting. The Weatherzone forecast is pointing to up to 65cm of snowfall over the next 10 days. We know forecasts like this can shift around, so we’ll be watching this closely, but it has us excited to see what August has in store!
