Designed to prepare athletes with advanced abilities and previous competition experience for a progression into elite Snowsports competition. Performance programs are offered to a variety of ages (10-17) and are discipline specific.

WSC Performance AlpineTeam

Alpine Team

Our Alpine Team program is designed to prepare advanced athletes for progression into elite ski racing.

The program aims to refine ski specific skills and techniques in and out of racecourses that will set the foundation for high performance in GS, Slalom and ski-cross.

Moguls Team

Perisher’s mogul program is unparalleled with access to Australia’s top mogul training facilities and a dedicated team of highly qualified and experienced specialist coaches.

Our Mogul Team program is designed for athletes who wish to pursue a competitive career in mogul skiing. The program aims to refine a range of mogul specific skills to extend adaptability and enhance successful competition.

WSC Performance FreeskiTeam

Freeski Team

Ready to take on Perisher’s award-winning terrain parks? Our Freeski Team program is aimed at taking advanced athletes slopestyle and big air skiing to competition level.

Freeski training includes slopestyle, big air and all mountain skiing. Regular free-ride activities combined with competitive opportunities, such as Snow Australia Park and Pipe Series Events, will help provide a foundation for high performance.

Snowboard Team

Utilising exclusive snow facilities including award winning terrain-parks and courses, Perisher’s Snowboard Team program is designed for athletes who wish to take their boarder-cross, big-air and slopestyle riding to competition level.

Aspiring boarder-cross and park athletes will refine skills, learn tricks and develop tactics to create a foundation for high performance.

Alpine Team

Program focus:

The program aims to refine ski specific skills, including technical, tactical, physical and psychological components that lay the pillars that are necessary to successfully compete in high calibre races.

Exploring more challenging aspects of skiing disciplines through regular freeski activities and developing techniques in and out of racecourses will set the foundation for athletic skiing and racing.

The Alpine program covers Giant Slalom, Slalom and Skier-Cross elements throughout the season whilst having fun in a safe environment.

Program specifics:

Full Time:

  • Includes 5 full training days per week (Saturdays, Sundays and 3 weekdays) from June to mid-September

Part Time:

  • Includes weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from June to mid-September (includes 3 weekdays per week during the 2 weeks of NSW public school holidays)

Minimum program requirements:

  • Programs are suited to the confident and dedicated alpine skier who is proficient on all terrain and conditions.

  • An advanced skill level and previous competition experience is required.

  • Program age: 10+ years

  • Participation requires an advanced skill level and previous competition experience. If you have not participated in similar programs before with little competition experience, you will be directed to our pathway programs. If you purchase in error, we will work to transfer you to the most suitable program.

Moguls Team

Program focus:

The program aims to refine mogul specific skills, including mogul skiing, jump and air training as well as, technical, tactical, physical and psychological components to extend adaptability and enhance successful competition.

Our team of highly qualified, experienced and specialist coaches focus on maximising time on snow to bring out the best in your child’s competition development.

Effective programming combined with athlete’s motivation for learning and physical fitness will support a pathway to high performance. As physical fitness is a vital part of the training regime, we highly encourage trampolining, gymnastics and multi-sport training to promote versatility, balance, coordination and control.

Program specifics:

Full Time:

  • Includes 5 full training days per week (Saturdays, Sundays and 3 weekdays) from June to mid-September, start date TBC.

Part Time:

  • Includes weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from June to mid-September, start date TBC (includes 3 weekdays per week during the 2 weeks of NSW public school holidays).

Minimum program requirements:

  • Programs are suited to the confident and dedicated alpine skier who are strong all-terrain parallel skiers and confident in moguls.

  • An advanced skill level and previous competition experience is required.

  • Program age: 10+ years

The program aims to develop young athletes who want to learn, progress and refine freeskiing skills, fundamental movement skills and physical literacy required for athletic development. Freeski training includes: Slopestyle, big air and all mountain skiing.

Program focus:

Our Snowboard Team training programs will utilise Perisher's exclusive snow facilities including award-winning terrain-parks, boarder-cross courses, pump-tracks and start sections, as well as giant slalom gate training.

Aspiring park athletes will learn tricks and develop tactics to bring together competition style runs.

Boarder cross athletes will refine skills such as balance, edging, jumping and timing in a high paced environment while enjoying access to Perisher’s several cross courses and other race training facilities.
